In a press release sent out this morning, The CW revealed that it would be holding a "Super Hero Flash" panel at the network's Upfront presentation this afternoon, with CW president Mark Pedowitz expected to field questions about the DC's movie universe and plans for television's future. The event will be live-streamed on The CW's YouTube channel, and will run through some of the questions that will be asked by attendees. First announced last week at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour, The CW's Flash panel was billed as a "special edition" of its Upfront presentation, and was to feature DC Entertainment executive Greg Berlanti and cast members Grant Gustin, Danielle Panabaker and Carlos Valdes. While many were excited to hear about the status of the new series, which is currently shooting in Vancouver, the Arrow and Flash spin-off will not be on the show floor at the network's Upfront panel. By all accounts, it was a solid panel, with the cast offering some details on Flashpoint, the character's apparent appearance in the upcoming Batman-Superman movie and the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths story line, as well as a little tease of how they're preparing to introduce Barry Allen's return in the second season of the series.
